FASS Fuel Filter Package XWS-3002 / PF-3001
Introducing our new and improved Extreme Water Separator, rated at 2 microns absolute. The reason for the absence of a drain in our water separator is due to the filter element's ability to trap the water. When using the new XWS-3002, it is essential to also use the PF-3001; these new filters are not compatible with FF-3003/FF-3010 or FS-1001/FS-1020. When replacing the discontinued filters with the XWS-3002 and PF-3001, the XWS-3002 will now be placed on the pressure side of the pump, with the PF-3001 on the suction side. For proper filter placement, please refer to the location diagram on the new filters.
XWS-3002 - Our new and improved Extreme Water Separator, rated at 2 microns absolute. The lack of a drain in our water separator is due to the filter element's ability to trap the water.
PF-3001 - The new Particulate Filter, rated at 144 microns. This filter, located on the suction side, will effectively reduce cavitation, improve flow properties, decrease the FASS System's sound output, and eliminate larger fuel particulates.
